Background
Formed in 2013, Coleg Cambria has rapidly established itself as a leading UK education provider. One of the largest colleges in the UK, the college has approximately 6,000 full-time students, 20,000 part-time learners and many international links. Across its seven sites (including one at Airbus' manufacturing facility and one at HMP Berwyn in Wrexham), Coleg Cambria offers a vast array of full-time and part-time courses, including A Levels GCSEs, BTECs, Welsh for Adults, and Higher Education. The college also partners with over 1,000 employers locally and nationally to deliver apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities.
Over the past 6 years Roche Audio VIsual have worked closely with Coleg Cambria to provide a wide range of audio visual systems including interactive touchscreens, digital signage screens and hybrid learning solutions.

Coleg Cambria have had over a million pounds worth of award-winning Clevertouch panels installed across its seven sites. "We are delighted to have hit this milestone," explains Jan Lefley - IT Support and Helpdesk Officer for Coleg Cambria "We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of education and on providing our staff and pupils with top of the range equipment to make their experience as good as it can be."
The first Clevertouch panels were installed in 2016, replacing several solutions including interactive whiteboards. Coleg stayed with Clevertouch Technologies because of their value, both financially and within the rich features that come as standard on these units.

Over time the college's requirements have moved and changed, but their love of Clevertouch has remained. The ability to sync with teachers Cloud accounts allows teachers to plan lessons more efficiently, and access to instructional content can happen anywhere. While sharing from a mobile device through the pandemic became a real benefit, allowing teachers to work remotely or from a safe distance and still communicate effectively with students.
Clevertouch Technologies interactive screens have already benefited thousands of pupils during their time at Coleg Cumbria; the solutions have allowed teachers to continue working through a global pandemic and provided new ways for students and teachers to interact and communicate.
